Pair Trade of the Day

Long CVH, Short SPY
Coventry Health Care, Inc. may rise as it expands through acquisitions and raises prices on its policies, Barron's reported.

Managed-care companies' shares have dropped 18% during the last three months amid concern about how the U.S. health-care overhaul will be implemented, the weekly newspaper said in its July 5 edition. That may offer a buying opportunity for Coventry, which has fallen more than 30% since March, when Congress approved the measure, Barron's said. Click to view this pair.
